Parents and Supporters, an exciting livestream event featuring astronaut and Cal Poly alumnus Victor Glover, is happening! 🚀

Interest in the June 15 event, Mustangs to the Moon and Back: An Evening with Victor Glover, was incredible — tickets sold out within 2 hours!

To accommodate more community members, these additional viewing options are now available:

• Livestream viewing at the PAC Pavilion (200 seats, first-come, first-served — line begins at 6:30 p.m.)

• A YouTube livestream so you can watch from home with friends and family. The link below will host the livestream when it goes live on June 15 at 7:30 p.m.

As the end of the year approaches, encourage your student to take a well-deserved break at this relaxing event hosted by Campus Health & Wellbeing! Students can enjoy free food, crafts, music, yoga, co****le, Jenga and more while connecting with friends and unwinding before finals. Spread the word and have your student join Campus Health & Wellbeing on June 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Health Center Lawn. 🍧

Parents and supporters, here’s an incredible opportunity to help your student build real-world confidence and career skills!

Research shows that strong connections (networking!) are one of the most effective ways students land jobs and internships. This two-part experience is designed to make networking approachable, practical, and even fun, all thanks to our friends at Cal Poly Career Services!

Part 1: Networking Workshop

Students will learn how to start conversations, navigate professional environments, and make a strong first impression. All in a supportive, low-pressure environment (plus free boba!).

Part 2: Networking Mixer at Milestone Tavern

⏰ 4:00-5:30 PM
📍 Milestone Tavern, 972 Foothill Blvd
Students will put their new skills into action while connecting with alumni and staff, with FREE food, mocktails, raffles, and prizes!

Two events, one purpose: Build confidence and practice networking in a fun, welcoming setting. Space is limited, and students must attend BOTH sessions to participate.

Have your student experience The Loop, Cal Poly’s new thrift store, at its very first pop-up during Earth Week!

The Loop makes it easy to find free secondhand treasures like clothing, dorm essentials, kitchenware, and more — all while keeping usable items out of the landfill, and everything is FREE for students!

Plus, it’s the perfect time for some spring cleaning! Your student can donate items they no longer need, giving them a second life at this event!

Have them stop by, see what’s available, take what they need, and donate what they don’t. 🌎
