American Legion Post 66 and the Central Coast Veterans Memorial Museum will be holding its Annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony on Monday, May 25th at 11am. All are welcome to attend this moving ceremony at the American Legion Post, 1661 Mill Street, San Luis Obispo.
Also, on the Saturday prior to the ceremony (May 23rd), we will be meeting at the San Luis Obispo Cemetery at 9am to place flags on Veterans gravesites to honor their military service. We need many volunteers to help us with this task, so anyone available would be welcomed to join us.
Additional volunteers are needed at 3pm on Monday, May 25th to collect all the flags to be used again on Veterans Day in November.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and assistance.
