Please join us at our June General Meeting where LMFT and Clinical Directer of Crestwood Behavioral Health, Danielle Martinez, will speak on 5150 Hospitalizations. Crestwood is the company that manages the Psychiatric Health Facility for SLO. The potluck dinner will be Pizza and all participants are encouraged to bring a side or dessert to share!

May is Mental Health Awareness month, and NAMI SLOCO has been busy spreading hope, education, advocacy, and support throughout our wonderful county.

Family-to-Family Education Program



NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session education program for family, friends and significant others of adults with mental health conditions. This course provides information about anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions. Other topics covered include communication, problem solving, treatment and recovery.

The course is designed to increase understanding and advocacy skills while helping participants maintain their own well-being and is taught by trained family members who have a loved one with a mental health condition. NAMI Family-to-Family is an evidence-based program (EB). For information on the research base for the program:

Classes Begin on Saturday June 20, 2026 in San Luis Obispo and run through Saturday August 15, 2026.
Classes start at 10 am and finish at 12:30 pm
