One of the things we appreciate most about art is the incredible collaboration that happens among creators and artists. We are truly grateful for the chance to participate in the Poetry Out Loud Competition with YoloArts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

This event highlights the talent and dedication of artists like Noah, who inspire us all with their creativity. Yolo Arts plays a crucial role in providing resources and support to artists and students in Yolo County, helping to ensure access to the arts for everyone. We feel fortunate to partner with such passionate individuals and organizations that are making a positive impact in our community. Together, we hope to inspire the next generation of artist’s workforce!

Noah is from Winters High School and will represent Yolo County at the 2025 Poetry Out Loud State Championship in Sacramento CA.

Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program that fosters a love for poetry by providing free resources and a vibrant recitation competition for high school students nationwide. This program empowers students to refine public speaking skills, gain self-confidence, and explore literary heritage and modern themes.🎤 Noah, representing Esparto High School, was a shining star in the 2024-25 Poetry Out Loud competition with his dedication and talent. The program is proudly supported by the California Arts Council. Way to go, Noah! 🌟

🎬✨ Exciting news! This holiday season, we’re raising funds through the Holiday Movie Selfie Museum to support our Creative Economy Initiative! 🎉 Over the past year, we’ve been dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship at the Roseville Venture Lab, and your support is crucial.

As part of the initiative, we’re thrilled to announce a series of upcoming events! Join us for our first town hall on January 13th from 6:00-8:00 PM, where we’ll discuss AI in the workforce. On January 2nd and 3rd, we’ll host an Entrepreneurship Camp for 7th to 9th graders, followed by additional creative entrepreneurship camps throughout the year.

Plus, don’t miss our Artsy Marketplace and Comedy Happy Hour! We want to make sure we elevate local talent and drive economic growth in our creative community.
