Sonnichsen Chapter of the Order of Minor Historians was established in May of 1997 in San Luis Obispo, CA by the late Edson T. Our purpose is to allow those interested in history to gather on a monthly basis to share a meal and to enjoy a historical presentation -- typically by one of our members. We are "Minor" because most members do not hold advanced degrees in history or carry the title of pro

fessor. We are "Historians" because we know just as much (and often considerably more) as anyone about our selected areas of historical interest.
