Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy! 🌞🌿

Many of us are stoked to be returning to SLO soon! However, it’s important for us all to remember that we have a responsibility in taking steps to protect the community from COVID-19. In addition to practicing physical social distancing and wearing masks, here is a list of suggested activities compiled by the school that are safe for the community.

For a full list of activities, check out our story and resources story highlight. Let’s remember to take care of ourselves, each other, and the planet :)

We are so stoked to announce the start of our IGTV Virtual Sustainability Workshop Series! Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from today until Week 9, our club is going to be sharing with you all some of our sustainable DIYs to try out at home! Quarantine has been a time to reflect, stay connected with friends and family, and try new things! We hope to inspire you all with all of the things we’ve been trying during our time at home.

If you do happen to try any of these things, and tag us! We’d love to see how everyone continues to actively stay engaged within our community during quarantine :)

Hi folks, in order to protect the health of our community and de-densify the workplace the sustainability team will be working remotely for the next two weeks. You can still reach us via email, phone, and social channels but we will not be in our offices. Please take care of yourself and community. Make sure to wash your hands, stay home if you are feeling off, and take care of your community. Let's flatten the curve and protect our most vulnerable friends and family members. We have loved watching the sustainability community grow here at Cal Poly over the past few quarters largely thanks to outlined goals for community sustainability, more club collaborations, and passion for environmental action from all of you! These pictures were taken at our beach cleanup last quarter with at Grover Beach. It’s incredible how positively impactful we can be when we work together for a common goal like caring for our planet! From more event collaborations to growing the sustainability community even further, we’re looking forward to all this year holds and hope you are too :)
