Net Impact - Cal Poly Undergrad General meetings every other Thurs. from 11:10am-12pm when in-person.

The Net Impact Cal Poly community is dedicated to providing students with opportunities to learn about and engage with the power of sustainable business in creating change. Spanning six continents, our membership makes up one of the most influential networks of professionals and students in existence today. Net Impact members are current and emerging leaders in CSR, social entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, international development, and environmental sustainability who are actively improving the world.

Join us for the Home Electrification Challenge and a chance to win $500! This is a California-wide case competition where students design equitable, customer-focused strategies to help PG&E scale home electrification, cut costs, and fight climate change, supporting PG&E’s path to net-zero by 2040. Applications due by 11:59pm on 2/15 with presentations on 2/22 from 4-7pm.

Happy week six y’all! Round up your old costume apparel and come find some new things just in time for the weekend! Costume waste is a huge issue in the US—polyester, which is used in 63% of all costumes, can take up to 200 years to decompose! Help give these items a second life while also watching Climate Solutions Now “The Worthy Fight for Energy Democracy.” Can’t wait to see you there 👻🎃
