On November 15th, 1998, ten men brought together the Alpha Omega Chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. to Cal Poly. Today, the Alpha Omega Chapter celebrates 20 years of brotherhood, a bond unlike any other.

Recordando a Los Nuestros: Dia de los Mu***os

Los dias festivos del Dia de los Mu***os se celebra cada ano el 1 y 2 de noviembre. Una celebración con raíces prehispánicas y coloniales, el Día de Los Mu***os extiende las creencias mexicanas con respecto a la vida despues de la muerte.
El altar ritual del hogar mexicano o ofrenda, que da la bienvenida a las almas visitantes, es fundamental para el reconocimiento de la relación continua de la vida con la muerte. La presentación estética de las ofertas de comida, los fenómenos naturales, los recuerdos familiares, la decoración popular y los juguetes caracterizan la ofrenda. El esplendor de las ofrendas está relacionado con la tradición regional, la riqueza individual, la importancia del difunto y la calidad de la cosecha anual. Calaveras o calaveras de azúcar, panes tradicionales, papel picado son habituales en el Día de los Mu***os. En honor a esta celebración espiritual, Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc., celebra el Día de los Mu***os el 1 y 2 de noviembre. Al hacerlo, recordamos a todos nuestros hermanos que han fallecido, pero se mantienen vivos en nuestra alma, mente y corazón ( #ΛΘΦ , 2018). ***os ***os
