Hello friends! Our annual film festival, Make Waves, is happening this Friday (4/25)! The event is at the Cal Poly Plant Conservatory at 7pm! Before films begin at 8pm, we will have live music, a bake sale, booths, and more. We’ll be sharing films celebrating our community & the central coast ecosystem. Admission will be $7 at the door (cash or Venmo). All proceeds will being going to the NOAA coastal discovery center. The event will be outside so bring a blanket/personal chair! We are excited to see you there 🌊🐋

It’s that time of year again! Our Make Waves Film Festival will be help at the Plant Conservatory on campus from 7pm to 10pm on April 25th. Look forward to live music, awesome vendors, and so many cool films! All the money made from this event will be donated to the NOAA Coastal Discovery Center🌊

Films from 8-10 pm

Tickets will be $7 at the door (cash or Venmo), and each ticket will be one entry into a prize drawing!

Happy Spring quarter 🪷🌞🌸 We are having our first general meeting of the quarter this Thursday April 3rd from 11:10-12pm in Building 186, room C200. We are going to be announcing core team positions for next year and Make Waves planning !!! Hope to see everyone there 🫶🏻

This Friday we are having a fundraiser show with our friends .sc and .🌊 All proceeds will be going to the ytt Northern Chumash Sacred Diablo Canyon Lands Back Fund! So excited to see all your beautiful faces💙

PSA: We are aware that SLO has regulated double fines this upcoming weekend. Because of this we will be capping our event to ensure that all the money raised will be able to be donated to the nonprofit. Please be aware and safe when coming to this event!

We’re already getting excited for our biggest event of the year, our Make Waves Film Festival! This year the event will be on April 25th at the Plant Conservatory🌿

⭐️We are looking for film submissions and vendors!⭐️
If you or someone you know have made a short film/visual media, we would love to feature it at our event. Vendors can be individuals selling their artwork, or tabling for an environmental organization. If you have questions, or want to be more involved in planning this event, feel free to DM us. Forms for both films and vendors are in our bio. Spread the word 🫶

Hello friends! Join us this Sunday evening 2/23 from 6-8 pm at the Cal Poly craft center for a night of getting craftyyy (sustainably 🤸‍♀️)! Bring any trash, thrifted items, reusable materials that you wish to craft with. Lets put all those yerb cans to a new use 🎨🧶💌

Join us this FRIDAY 2/21 at 7 pm for a delicious time making burritos, wearing beanies, mingling, and watching a fun ocean themed movie!!! Check the spreadsheet in the linktree to sign up to bring a burrito ingredient and make sure to BYO plate and utensils! (no single use plastics at this event 😘)

We are partnering with in bringing you all some good music for a great cause!! Our friends and will be playing the night away this Saturday, February 8th. A portion of the proceeds made from this show will be going towards LA fire relief. Doors are at 8 pm, $5 at the door cash or Venmo. Excited to see you all there🌊💙

This is a 21+ event HOWEVER, for those who aren’t able to attend don’t worry! We are planning some upcoming events for all ages so stay tuned!
