How can County of SLO Public Libraries help you live more sustainably? Come find out on July 16 from 5–7 PM at the SLO County Library (995 Palm Street) for an evening exploring climate action, local resources, and the organizations and businesses helping build a more sustainable SLO County.
Learn about the Library’s own journey through the SLO County Green Business Program, discover the SustainabLoT (Library of Things) collection featuring items like induction cooktops and Tri-County Regional Energy Network Home Energy Saver Kits, and hear from the SLO Climate Coalition’s Carlos Hernandez about practical ways to reduce energy use at home through their Home Energy Advising program.
You’ll also have the chance to meet certified Green Businesses (CA Green Business Network), connect with sustainability organizations, and learn about free resources like home energy advising that can help you take climate action in your everyday life.
It’s also Downtown San Luis Obispo, CA SLO Farmers’ Market night! Stop by the Library at 5 PM before heading over to the market to say hello, connect with local sustainability leaders, and pick up resources to make your home and lifestyle a little greener.
