Veterans Outreach will hold a Virtual Cooking Class from 5:30-7:30 pm 3/26 on Zoom. Participants will make a traditional Syrian dinner, including salad (with tomatoes and cucumbers) and Fasolia Blahmi (green beans stew with ground beef and sweet spices.) All food ingredients are provided.

Participants will need the following cookware and utensils: cutting board, chef’s knife, several regular bowls, one large salad bowl, pot with lid, large heavy skillet, two wooden spoons, and grater.

San Luis Obispo County's To***co Control Program is currently not able to provide local to***co cessation services. California Smokers' Helpline continues to offer evidence-based cessation support in six languages, starting with developing a quitting plan. Special services are available for pregnant smokers, teens, v**e users and to***co chewers.

Every February, the Employment Development Department’s Labor Market Information Division, in cooperation with the Bureau of Labor Statistics, revises historical industry employment, labor force, and hours and earnings estimates. These benchmarks update the data sets used to generate monthly labor force estimates. This latest summary has information on industry employment, unemployment rates, and top job advertisements in the area as well as 2020 labor force dynamics and the demographic characteristics of 2020 unemployment insurance claims.
