🐝 ADOPT ME! Fluffy klepto malamute love is up for adoption! ✨
We would love to find a forever home for Hornet’s Nest who can continue with his weight gain plan, as he is still very underweight (he needs to gain about 20 lbs). We will send him with dog food to help supplement this weight gain. He is completely vetted, good with dogs, and a total sweetheart!

Hornets Nest (aka Teddy Slims) is the sweetest lion husky you’ve ever seen 🦁 He arrived from Texas and immediately lapped up the good life in Colorado. He’s very silly and playful, and knows how to voice his opinions (deep voice just like Teddy Swims). Be prepared to get loads of attention with him since he’s stunningly handsome.
He may be overzealous when he first meets you (working on not jumping up…) but once he spends time with you he falls deeply in love. He’ll show you affection by leaning into you while receiving rubs and gazing into your eyes. He loves walks and watermelon. He’d love to join you on daily walks around the neighborhood, and he’s a very good boy who doesn’t pull too much (other than hunting squirrels) and really just wants to sniff around and look at passersby. Oh and yes he does expect you to buy him lots of watermelon this summer 🍉 - and would probably love taste testing other seasonal fruits and veggies.
He was neglected where he first lived, but he now expects king treatment. He’ll just need to continue working on dog life skills and boundaries due to his rougher start (dumpster diving 🗑️ and counter surfing 🏄♂️ ). He is working on gaining weight and strength, so would appreciate someone who is happy to help keep him in tip top shape (and professional grooming for his luscious locks!)
