Parents For Childrens Rights This sight was set up to bring together parents around the world that are struggling with the court system with custody and child protection issues.

We hope that parents can use this sight to learn about other parents experiences with these issues good or bad. Hopefully parents can come together and help each other get through these painful and stressful situations. Our goal is to help families for the best interest of the children. Also to share experiences with the court systems and possibly help others to use the system to benefit the children and families.

Everyone remember that this is not a personal site, it is used for parents for childrens rights and for posting about experiences with child custody and visitation issues as well as child protection experiences. You will not see a lot of pictures and personal information about me, I am just a host for the site and there are 2 other people involved in monitoring this site and making posts. The other 2 people are Jose Mendez and Kimberly Brighton, they are also from the San Luis Obispo area. We are new to setting up pages on facebook and just want to hear about other experiences with the court system both positive and negative. We are not here to bash on any court system or on parents, we are hoping to just get people of different areas talking and sharing about their experiences. The 3 of us have had both negative and positive experiences and just want to help others. We are searching for others to join the page through court records that we can search on line in public record listings. We hope to hear from you out there and really hope to get people together to help each other.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the parents and children out there. Hope that whether you have custody of your children or not that you are able to spend some time with them and give thanks for having them in your lives. Remember that they are innocent ones and we need to make sure that they stay that way and not make them pawns in our adult world.

Just a reminder whether you are involved in a child custody dispute or a child protection issue, all that matters is what is best for the kids. Don't make accusations that are not true just because you are trying to get back at the other parent. Remember that it is the children who suffer in the long run. They are the ones that become victimized and have to go through questioning, evaluations and exams in these situations. No matter whether we think we are winning or losing, it doesn't matter, the children are the ones that are actually losing, because they no longer have a family with 2 parents or are being taken away from the parent, parents or families that they are most comfortable with and being moved around from place to place and feeling like they are at fault. So let's think before we act.

Would really like to hear what anyone else might have to say about any experiences with child protection or child custody issues, good or bad. We would like to use this site for parents to be able to communicate with each other and learn from the experiences and how we can possibly make changes for the good to the system and to benefit what is best for the children.

Please let's post about our experiences with the court system regarding child custody and child protection. There are alot of people out there that are struggling with the system and the goal is to help those people and to make things better for the children.

I have had good and bad experiences with the system personally. I would like to share the good, I was able to succeed in getting shared custody of my child. I have my daughter every other week with visitation on the weekend that I don't have her. It did take me a year to get to that point and a long struggle with the ex because she didn't want to give in. As for the negative experience I believed that the Judge handling our case was against me, it seemed every time I asked for something I got shot down. It is very difficult to believe in someone that you are paying to help you, but that is something that you need to do. Also stay strong in what you stand for.

This page has been started to be used for parents to communicate with each other about there experiences with the court system in regards to child custody issues and child protection matters. The goal is to help each other to learn from other experiences whether good or bad. Please feel free to post your experiences and know that you will not be judged here.
