🏡 BILLY IS HOME! 🏡

Couldn’t be happier for baby Billy to have found such an amazing forever home and family… and with a dear friend of mine, no less 🥹🤍

I messaged Danielle about a week before Billy flew in, we’ve both been huge supporters of dog meat trade rescue for the past 7–8 years. I honestly didn’t expect her to want to adopt (and I didn’t want to put any pressure on her), especially since she lost her soul dog Chase around the same time I lost Bolt. But I knew she’d completely melt over that ridiculous little face of his… as we all have 😂

Once he landed and we had him for a week or so and we posted him I FaceTimed her with him, she was head over heels in an instant. She and Matt drove straight up from SoCal to meet him, and the rest is history 🤍

Billy is living by the beach now and living his absolute best life. He’s already on a diet (he’s a solid 10–15 lbs overweight 😂), completely obsessed with toys, and has a whole hoard of them. He loves his little walks, but more than anything he loves his comfy nap corners.

It’s still hard to believe that a boy whose life started on the meat trade in China is now on the other side of the world with a loving family and a lifetime of adventure ahead of him. I couldn’t be happier for him 🥹

Thank you as always to our incredible friends at Harbin SHS Animal Rescue for the work you do on the front lines in China saving lives like Billy’s. If you’re looking for a meat-trade rescue that’s the real deal, the girls at SHS are it. I’ve been out there and volunteered with them — it was truly life-changing. They’re the best.

🌟 ADOPT BILLY 🌟

I mean where do you even begin with this little guy 😂 A short, chunky golden boy? Yes please! When our amazing friends and long-time rescue partners Harbin SHS Animal Rescue reached out saying this sweet boy had a flight and needed a soft place to land, of course we said yes!

Those who have followed us for years might know that when we first started Atlas we helped the ladies at SHS and flew many dogs that were rescued from the meat trade in China, finding them forever homes here in the States. They are a huge reason to why we are here today, without them I probably never would have had the guts to start our own rescue! I’m so incredibly grateful for them.

Billy was rescued off a meat truck in China in 2024. He had Parvo and, thanks to the amazing girls, he made a full recovery and is the happiest, dopiest boy around! He’s going to make such an amazing addition to a family. He’s great with all people, kids, and other dogs! 🥹

⭐️ ADOPT MOOSE! ⭐️

Moose (previously Harvey) came to us from Palmdale shelter after arriving at the shelter as a stray. We met Moose with shelter angel Rita Earl Blackwell while visiting the shelter and fell in love with his sweet, happy, d***y demeanor and knew we had to give this goofy boy a chance!

Moose is a year old and the shelter guessed his breed to be a rottie/golden 😂 What a combo if that’s the case! Moose loves people and is great with other dogs!

🌸 ADOPT DELTA 🌸

A very special girl is looking for her forever home 🥹 We rescued Delta from Lancaster shelter about a month ago, she was brought in after being found in an abandoned house. I can’t imagine what was going through this poor girls head at the time, she loves people so much I can’t imagine her being alone like that!

Delta is a beautiful 3 year old Akita with the happy go lucky attitude of a golden retriever lol. She absolutely adores people, is super outgoing, and can’t get enough affection from anyone willing to give it!

She’s potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on leash. She’s sweet, silly, and full of happiness, she is just pure fun and will be the perfect adventure buddy for someone out there!

Celeste is officially out of the vet and now relaxing & recovering in foster! 🥳

I’m so incredibly proud of this girl. “Resilient” doesn’t even begin to describe the strength she has. She’s come so far in such a short time with us already! Swipe right for the before and after of her injury site so far ➡️

Our amazing vets at Monarch Dunes Veterinary Clinic are true miracle workers. They gave Celeste so much love and care while she was hospitalized. She never tried to bite anyone (like she did initially at the shelter from pain) she’s been so patient and trusting with everyone trying to help her. I truly believe she could feel that love.

Once the infection was cleared, our vets were able to close up a large portion of her injury site. She also had entropion surgery on both eyes… and she can finally SEE! (More updates on her eyes to come 😍) Sweet girl got the full works done and has been such a trooper through it all, handling recovery like a total champ. So beyond proud of her.

None of this would have been possible without every single one of you. To every donor and supporter who has stood by Celeste, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness is what got her here.
