Community Support Needed 🎵
Generation Music & Arts Academy needs your help.
Many people know us for our music lessons, but GMAA is so much more than that. We provide a home for recitals, youth bands, folklórico dance, hula classes, breakdance, K-pop dance, after-school enrichment programs, local artists, photographers, and community events. We also open our doors free of charge each week to a Chinese seniors band that rehearses in our space. From young children taking their first lessons to older adults continuing their musical journey, we strive to be a welcoming creative space where people of all ages can learn, perform, create, and connect.
One of our core values is accessibility. We work hard to keep our class and rental rates affordable so that arts education and creative spaces remain within reach for our community. When funding is available, we're also able to offer free programs and classes to income-eligible families who might not otherwise have access to these opportunities.
Unfortunately, funding has become increasingly difficult to secure, and we're working hard to keep this community space available and our programs accessible to the families we serve.
