We kicked off the 2026 season with 264 players more than 500 families and neighbors filling Floresta Park for Opening Day ⚾

Huge thanks to .the.rally.possum from the .ballers for bringing the energy as our Grand Marshal, and to Gabe Perry for a beautiful National Anthem performance.

A special moment was the dedication of Field 1 to Rebecca “Becky” Ramirez, honoring her many years of service to the league and the kids of Floresta Baseball.

Thank you to San Leandro PD for safely escorting our Parade of Teams, and to for joining the celebration and sharing upcoming programs with families.

We’re grateful for our coaches, umpires, volunteers, and families who make this volunteer-run league possible every season.

And a huge thank you to photographer , who generously captured these moments for our league to share with our community.

Opening Day runs on snacks… and volunteers.

Huge thanks to Snack Bar Coordinator Co-Chair Christa Curtaz and her family for spending the day painting and sprucing up the Floresta Snack Bar so it’s ready to fuel our players and fans next weekend. 🌭🍿

Sunflower seeds, Cracker Jacks, Red Vines, and cold drinks are coming in hot.

Floresta Baseball is a 100% volunteer-run league, and we need a few more folx to step up for snack bar shifts this season.

Spring baseball is officially underway.

Before the first pitches are thrown, our coaches and assistant coaches gathered in the sunshine for training, committing to lead with encouragement, respect, and growth.

Floresta is a volunteer run league, and these are the people shaping the experience for our players this season.

Grateful for this crew. Let’s play ball.

⚾️🎉 Opening Day is Saturday, March 14, 2026 🎉⚾️

Floresta Park is about to be full of teams, families, first pitches, and that Opening Day magic.

A reminder we are proudly a volunteer run league. Every parade lap, every snack bar treat, every raffle prize and freshly lined field happens because our families step up.

We still need a few MVP volunteers to make the day run smoothly:
🛠 Set Up Crew
🎟 Raffle Booth
🌭 Snack Bar
🧹 Clean Up Team
This is a great way to complete volunteer hours and be part of what makes Floresta special.

If you can give an hour, it makes a huge difference.
