Celebrate 117 years of the San Leandro Cherry Festival TODAY from 10 AM - 6 PM!
Start your day at 10 AM at the San Leandro Cherry Parade and cheer on your community as they make their way down E. 14th Street in festive floats, classic cars, and creative costumes.
Then, head over to the FREE festival for live music on the main stage, a vendor market with over 150 booths, the fresh cherry market, the family fun zone, a car show, pie eating contest, and more!
Get in step at the Main Stage with the dynamic funk band Farenhyte5150. Dance into the afternoon with Conjunto Karabali, featuring Mike Spiro and 14x Grammy Award-winning Santana Percussionist Karl Perazzo. End your 2026 Cherry Festival experience to the music of the legendary Bay Area band The Purple Ones - Insatiable Tribute to Prince!

One of the oldest most unique restaurants in Cafe Inside the Pelton Plaza it’s mostly a breakfast and lunch restaurant. Family-owned I had the Mexican eggs Benedict. Breakfast and lunch seven days a week. It’s very nostalgic inside you should check it out and support small family owned business.

Our next Second Friday event is the 🌸 Spring Fest 🌼 on April 10th. This FREE community event will feature an Egg Hunt from 4 PM - 6 PM, and the first 150 kids will get a free Easter basket.

Friends of the Library DVD Sale

Main Library The Friends of the San Leandro Library will hold a special, two-day DVD Sale on Saturday, January 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Main Library, 300 Estudillo Avenue.
Cinema classics, contemporary favorites and foreign language films will all be available at just $1 per disc. Buy 3 discs and get two free! All proceeds benefit the San Leandro Library. Participant Applications for the 2026 San Leandro Cherry Festival are now OPEN!

Over 30,000 people attended the Cherry Festival in 2025 to enjoy cherry-themed food, beer and wine, live entertainment, a farmers' market, kids zone, a car show, community resource booths, and unique artisan vendors.

Vendor and community resource applications are open, with a 20% Early Bird discount on booth spaces available through January 15th.
