CALL FOR AUDITIONS – CHRIST CATHEDRAL STAFF BARITONE
Christ Cathedral Music Ministry under the direction of Mr. David Ball (formerly Crystal Cathedral, now Roman Catholic) in Garden Grove, is holding auditions for a Baritone Staff Singer.
Cathedral Staff Singers serve as section leaders for the Cathedral Choir and members of the Cathedral Schola, which is an advanced subgroup of the larger Cathedral Choir, singing at the 9:45am Mass on Sundays (9am call time), a weekly rehearsal on Thursdays from 7:30-9:30pm (Thursday after Labor Day through Corpus Christi Sunday, likely in June) along with Christmas, Holy Week, Easter, and Concerts.
Cathedral Staff Singers will also be considered for additional opportunities such as weddings, funerals, and extra Masses. Compensation for Professional Staff Singers is $75 per call. Auditions will be held by appointment only. Music degree preferred.

Join us for season fourteen with our Annual Holiday Program on December 1, 2018 at 2:00PM at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano. Guest conductor Charles W. Kamm (director of choirs for the Joint Music Program of Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, and Scripps Colleges) will lead the singers of de Angelis. This a ca****la program features Francis Poulenc's classic Motets for the Season of Christmas sounding in counterpoint with French Renaissance motets by Compère, Costely, Goudimel, and L'Heriter, as well as recent arrangements of traditional French carols. Un joyeux Noël à tous!
