Please be aware that Vaquero Heritage Days will not be scheduled for 2020 at St. Francis Retreat Center in San Juan Bautista, CA. With sincere gratitude to Franciscan Friars for hosting VHD from 2012 - 1018, and sincere appreciation for all who made the journey & attended, those who gave their time as volunteers, educators, artisans, and those who contributed as sponsors - all who made VHD an outstanding event, we thank you. You helped keep Vaquero Traditions alive!
"Evolution"...an unfolding; process of development or change; a movement that is part of a series. Vaquero Heritage Days is evolving. Change is not always welcomed or easy. However, change often opens new doors - doors for sharing the passion & knowledge of Vaquero Heritage & Traditions! We'll be posting recaps of previous VHD's valuable teachings, always to be remembered. Stay tuned & Viva Vaquero Traditions!

VHD2018 - August 17 - 19, 2018! The 5th Vaquero Heritage Days event AND a wonderful one for sure! Hosted by Franciscan Friars at their St. Francis Retreat Center in San Juan Bautista, CA. We're so very thankful and appreciative of everyone involved & those who made the journey from over 12 states & 2 countries to celebrate CA's vaquero heritage! Your support helps keep CA's vaquero legacy alive! We'll wrap up by posting sequential & pertinent 3-day photos & stories soon!
