We are very sad to share Gizmo has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. His family shared this about him:

"With heavy hearts our Gizmo went to Rainbow Bridge. Gizmo was fine and then took a turn for the worse. He took a walk everynight and love it. Gizmo had friends all around the neighborhood and had to stop and say hi to his friends on his walk. The neighborhood kids would go to Gizmo and pet him. Gizmo was very loving doggy.
Gizmo was Ted's first dog after retirement. They were together 24/7, it was very hard to let go.
It is hard to forget a Thulani dog 💙🐕‍🦺🦴
Our Thulani dogs included, Jeremy T,
Riley T, Conner T, Morgan T, Sammy T and Gizmo T. The Best dogs on this earth.
🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺 One day we will meet up with them at Rainbow Bridge, so they can give back the piece if heart the took from us when the left for the Rainbow Bridge"

Happy foster Friday from Tucson! This lucky boy is currently in a foster home where he's learning good manners to prepare him for a forever home! We are so grateful to our fosters who take the time to get to know each Thulani dog, and focus on their needs and training to help them be their best selves once they're adopted.

Are you interested in helping our senior dogs like Tucson? Fill out our foster interest form today! https://tr.ee/fosterinterest Filling the interest form does NOT obligate you to foster, and we welcome all new fosters!

Happy tails update from Lola! Her adopter says she is doing well, and that she loves to watch the bees and the hummingbirds that come to the plants in the backyard.

We love to see how peaceful she looks! Thanks to Lola's forever family for giving her a wonderful environment she can thrive in ✨

Happy tails update from Sasha (FKA Sweet Pea)

Sasha continues to be in good health and weight. She continues to express her opinions on our walks, sometimes rather emphatically wanting to turn left *here*, or pausing at a corner while testing the air and with a little side-eye that says “you coming?” …heads down the direction she’d like to go today. If we have time, we go with the plan she has, adhering to the adage “When they go gray, they get their way!” Right now she’s sleeping off the excitement of Bark in the Park, where we all represented Thulani.
We have neighborhood toddlers who love to see her, and she’s great with them.
She will occasionally zoom in the yard and certainly know when it’s cookie o’clock. Coming up on 3 years with us in November. She continues to want someone around, and we indulge her on that.

Thank you to Sasha's family for this wonderful update!

We are very sad to share that Odinn has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. This sweet boy was adopted from Thulani in September 2023, and in his nearly three years with his family, he brought them joy every day. Thank you to Odinn's family for all the care and love they gave him. Run free, Odinn!
