The cohort's investigative projects will explore the well-being of children, youth and families across the nation.

Last Friday, dozens of community, nonprofit, and movement leaders across the South Bay, Peninsula, and Northern San Benito County gathered to plan for the 2026 1440 Multiversity Retreat. Forged by a unique, strategic collaboration between Silicon Valley Community Foundation, 1440 Foundation, and The Health Trust, the retreat has two central goals: Support nonprofit leaders individual wellness and sustainability; and strengthen relationships/collaboration among leadership orienting around shared goals. THT was humbled to be an active participant and funding partner to this impactful gathering taking shape in July; specifically centering leaders organizing for food systems and health care infrastructure change. Gratitude to the leadership of Silicon Valley Community Foundation for gathering us, and so much more to come!

Shout-out to our partners at Silicon Valley at Home for a truly special affordable housing month! This year's theme, , centered on what it takes to build a Silicon Valley community where everyone can afford to live and belong. It is rooted in a simple truth: solving the affordable housing crisis requires commitment from all of us. THT staff was humbled to join many of the month-long series of events, workshops and other strategic gathering spaces to advance housing justice. Some highlights included learning deeply about Somos Mayfair's goals around the limited equity cooperative model and community ownership goals; how county/city leaders are galvanizing the conditions to promote social housing in Santa Clara County; and hearing from experts on SVCN's STAY in San Jose, a race equity framework to advance housing affordability.

The Health Trust was honored to support affordable housing month, and kudos to the hundreds of leaders who made this possible.
