CFDA 121 Recap 🔁: Our Annual Service of Remembrance brings our profession together to honor the funeral professionals we've lost over the past year, while also remembering the family members, friends, and loved our attendees have lost. This year's theme, Community of Light, reflected our Convention theme of Better Together—a reminder that every act of kindness, mentorship, compassion, and service we share with others leaves a lasting light. Thank you to our service leaders Chanell O'Farrill, Russell Chemerisov, and Tania Hill, and thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful tradition and helped us remember that we are all keepers of their flame. 🕯️

👔👚 CFDA is proud to help spread the word about "From Closet to Calling," a community event hosted by the Death Care Collective at Jefferson Adult School on August 15 at 1pm. Join fellow funeral service professionals, students, and community members for an afternoon focused on connection, creativity, and giving back. Donate gently used professional clothing and interview attire to help Funeral Service Assistant Certificate students prepare for internships and careers, then stay to create a meaningful mini coffin keepsake.
