Hoy, LUNA se unió al día anual de defensa de los niños de Parent Voices.

Nos reunimos con el senador Josh Becker y el asambleísta Marc Berman para asegurar que nuestra comunidad sea escuchada. Exigimos que el presupuesto estatal de California priorice a las familias y a los defensores del cuidado infantil.

Today, LUNA joined Parent Voices for their annual Stand for Children Day 2026.

We met with Senator Josh Becker and Assemblymember Marc Berman to ensure our community’s voices are heard. We demand that the California state budget prioritizes families and childcare advocates.

The fight for justice for our families continues!

Este sábado pasado nuestras promotoras de aire ayudaron plantar árboles en Hillview Park ¡Momentos como así son especiales por que la visión para el futuro es que este árbol ayude dar sombra y ayude purificar el aire!

This past Saturday our Air Quality Promotoras helped plant more trees in Hillview Park. Moments are these are special because the vision for this tree is that in the future it helps provide shade and help purify the air!

¡Felicidades a la comunidad y los líderes de Valley Palms por su nuevo mural!

En el 2022, Valley Palms se convirtió en un capítulo oficial de LUNA. En 2023, los vecinos de Valley Palms se unieron a la Asociación de Inquilinos de KDF y llevaron a una delegación de 25 inquilinos para entregar personalmente una solicitud para una reunión de negociación en persona en la sede de KDF Communities en Newport Beach, CA. Durante este viaje, los inquilinos compartieron testimonios personales y presentaron demandas para reducir los aumentos de alquiler y abordar las atroces condiciones de vivienda.

¡Valley Palms es un vecindario lleno de resistencia, creatividad, y muchos sueños!

Congratulations to the Valley Palms community and leaders for their new mural!

In 2022, Valley Palms became an official LUNA chapter. In 2023, Valley Palms residents joined the KDF Tenants Association and led a delegation of 25 tenants to personally deliver a request for an in-person negotiation meeting at KDF Communities headquarters in Newport Beach, CA. During this trip, the tenants shared personal stories and presented demands to reduce rent increases and address the appalling housing conditions.

Valley Palms is a neighborhood full of resilience, creativity, and many dreams!
