Enchanted Soap Company would not exist without the creative energy of 26 middle schoolers from San Jose, CA. What started as an after-school program about entrepreneurship has been shaped by the kids' enthusiasm into an exciting adventure. This group composed in majority of 6th graders has discovered the thrill of starting a business and taking an active role in all parts of the company. The stude
nts have tested and selected scents and colors, designed the soap loaves, the packaging, and produced an inventory of over 40 soap bars! They have studied the constraints of budget and reached pricing decisions. After long brainstorming sessions, they finally agreed on their company name, Enchanted Soap Company. Profits of Enchanted Soap Company are donated to the Healthier Kids Foundation of Santa Clara, "to help kids like us" as said Annie.
