This Spring, we conducted a survey of our entire membership and collected feedback on the Branch’s communication channels (Bonfire, emails, social media), Branch programs, and member satisfaction generally. The response was amazing – over 55%! Data from the 23-question survey has been carefully examined and analyzed. The full 33+ page report is now available on the Branch website in the Members’ Only section.

Meet Tynka Dees, our 2024-5 AAUW Board President.

Tynka was a Family Practice physician for 30+ years. She has been very active in the AAUW Local Scholarship Program and has been on B&P. She is also in an AAUW book group and hopes to join other interest groups someday.

From Tynka:

“We moved a LOT when I was growing up. The first thing my mother did in a new town was to find the AAUW and join. She knew she’d find deeply committed, like-minded women.

Now that I am retired, I have some time to devote to AAUW and enjoy my time with our strong minded, intelligent, and talented women (and men).”
