2019 Porchfest, Labor Day Weekend Saturday August 31 the ultimate grassroots music festival, it is a vibrant music and arts festival that takes place on porches (and patios, stoops, driveways, church/community center yards) all over the neighborhood.

A Few Notes for Guests
This is a no-alcohol, family-friendly event. Enjoy!

Public restrooms are available at Backesto Park

There will be food vendors located at Backesto Park

Lawn chairs, blankets & coolers are encouraged. There will be food vendors. Please, NO ALCOHOL at the end of the event their will be a beer garden at Backesto Park

Pack-it-IN | Pack-it-OUT. Leave only your footprints.

Feel free to TIP THE MUSICIANS!

Biking, walking, skateboarding, skipping & dancing from porch to porch is encouraged since parking is limited and many roads are closed.

No motorized vehicles within the closure area.

City of San Jose ordinances apply regarding dogs, alcohol and unruly behavior.

Be prepared for warm weather. Don't forget your hat, sunscreen, parasols, etc.

Homes will not be open to guests

Thank you for respecting peoples' properties and taking your mess with you.

Rain-or-shine ... San Jose Northside Porchfest will happen.

Who Should Come
Everyone! PorchFest is a family-friendly event featuring musicians from a wide variety of genres.

What to Bring
You'll be "camping out" in neighborhood front lawns for 30-40 minutes at a time, so bring chairs or a blanket to sit on. If you want to see as many bands as possible, a bike is a great idea.

What to Eat & Drink
Food Truck and Vendors may be around for food options. You're welcome to bring a cooler, but please pick up any trash you may create.

Where to Go for Info
We will provide a printed schedule as we get closer to finalizing the map. Be sure to pick up a printed schedule / map for the day, buy t-shirts and learn about the neighborhood at the Porchfest table during the Northside Night Market at Backesto Park. This information will be available in July.
