The developer Affirmed Housing is breaking ground this year on this 195-unit 100% project in the neighborhood of on land owned by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority. Affirmed Housing is looking for community input on how to make sure their project incorporates standards.

We've had a fantastic, multi-year collaboration with , specifically the newly reshaped School of Planning, Policy, and Environmental Studies. Our first-ever employee in 2018 was a San José State University graduate student in , and we hired 5 more master's of urban planning students after that. They've been integral in vetting development projects for our members to evaluate and advancing our advocacy around those projects.

So when the program asked our .shoor to come down to City Hall last week to share our experience employing its students as SJSU is being considered for re-accreditation, we said, "Happy to help!"
