(Esp abajo) Today we celebrate an extraordinary man.
This afternoon, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Los Gatos, the Santa Maria Urban Ministry family gathered to honor Lewis Pollard as he retires from our board of directors after years of dedicated and faithful service.
Lewis has walked alongside Santa Maria for 27 years — as a VITA volunteer, supporting working families as they reclaimed what was theirs: their money, their stability, their future.
Today, surrounded by board members, VITA volunteers, and his faith community, Lewis received his plaque from Executive Director, Louis Powell, and a blessing from Father Ricardo.
Lewis, on behalf of the entire Santa Maria community, thank you.
You are part of Santa Maria. You are the way this work gets done.
¡Juntos Podemos!
