We are holding an Open Rehearsal & Auditions night this Tuesday 9/1 at our rehearsal space where you can learn more about SVGMC and audition to join our community! 🫶

Remember: we’re not all from the Silicon Valley, we’re not all Gay and we’re not all Men, but we are SVGMC — and if you want to come sing with like-minded individuals with the same passion for music, inclusivity & pride, we hope to see you there!

Visit our booth to learn more about SVGMC as we plug into our community through social events, flag raisings, and learn about how we’ll begin preparing for our upcoming 44th season as a choir. 🎤

Join us on Sunday, August 30th as we march in the Silicon Valley Pride Parade and come catch us perform at the Festival at 1pm in Downtown San Jose 🏳️‍🌈👏

We are heartbroken by the passing of Dolly Parton . We never expected to make this post so soon and say goodbye to an incredible musician, generous philanthropist, and beloved pillar of the LGBTQ+ community.

Throughout SVGMC’s history, we have looked to Dolly’s music for inspiration and hope, performing beloved songs of hers like “Jolene” and “Light of a Clear Blue Morning". Her fierce loyalty to the LGBTQ+ community, her generosity toward others, and the joy she brought to so many are just a few of the reasons she has been such an inspiration to us. Her music and legacy will live on for generations.

We hope our rendition of “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” can bring some comfort as we grieve the loss of this incredible woman.

Thank you Dolly, for the joy, kindness, hope, loyalty, and above all, the music. We will miss you. 🦋

LIFE concert is happening TONIGHT and we’re SO EXCITED 🤩
Tonight’s concert is about 90% sold out and tomorrow’s about 75%, so grab your tickets before you miss out 👏
