I wanted to share this message I got from a human and cat that you supported with our last big fundraiser. We raised the money to keep her from being euthanized at SJACC for a completely treatable condition called an FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy). Thank you for helping us save her. We are grateful. ❤🐾
To Everyone at Gatos de la Noche,
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for the kindness, compassion, and generosity you showed to my beloved cat, Kitty.
Kitty is a community cat who is approximately 11 years old. She is one of the sweetest cats you could ever meet. One day, our neighbor found her dragging her leg and clearly in pain. I took her to a local animal shelter, where I was told that her injury was severe and that surgery would cost around $5,000. I was devastated. I was also told that if I chose to take her home, I would be responsible for the cost of her treatment.
I felt helpless and heartbroken. Then, by what I truly believe was a blessing from God, I received a phone call from the founder of Gatos de la Noche. She told me where to take Kitty for care, and from that moment on, everything changed.
Today, Kitty is completely healed. She runs, jumps, plays, and enjoys life again. Watching her recover has been nothing short of a miracle. She fought so hard, and because of your help, she was given the chance to keep living the happy life she deserves.
To everyone who donated to Kitty’s fund, please know that your generosity made a real difference. You didn’t just help pay for medical care. You saved a life. You gave a sweet, loving cat a second chance.
If Kitty could speak, I know she would thank each and every one of you herself. Since she can’t, I am honored to do it for her.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion, your kindness, and for all that you do for animals in need. The work you do changes lives, and Kitty is living proof of that every single day.
With sincere gratitude,
Evangelina Sanchez
