Our mission is to actively facilitate and support the humane treatment of feral cat colonies. This will include participating in Trap Neuter and Return (TNR) of feral cats, seeking medical attention for cats that are ill or hurt, setting up feeding stations for anyone willing to feed a colony on a daily basis, trapping kittens and finding foster homes to socialize them and training others to do the same.

They made it to Fat Kitty City!! October and Velvet were driven to FKC by their caretakers, Rosie and Debbie last weekend. Cali is extremely difficult to trap. We have not given up on her! Hopefully we can convince her that this will be a better place to live! The girls will start in a catio inside a catio to get acclimated. When they are comfortable in the smaller catio, they will be moved into the big catio. When they get acclimated there they will have more freedom. We call this imprinting. We know they will have a better life here than the parking lot they were living in. We are beyond grateful for all of your help. ❤🐾

II really do have to tell you what is on my mind, and I am going to try and do it gently. Please, please, please don't ask us for advice and then not follow it. Because you didn't follow our advice, we spent hours and hours trying to trap cats that weren't hungry. We have to beat ourselves up when the kitten you ignored our advice about dies, and when that sick young cat in your colony disappears, probably dying alone when it could have gotten help.

You ask us because you see we are knowledgeable. If you are going to ask us for our help, please listen to what we say.

This is one of our girls at the farm. She is well cared for with your support. We are grateful.

I wanted to share this message I got from a human and cat that you supported with our last big fundraiser. We raised the money to keep her from being euthanized at SJACC for a completely treatable condition called an FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy). Thank you for helping us save her. We are grateful. ❤🐾

To Everyone at Gatos de la Noche,

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for the kindness, compassion, and generosity you showed to my beloved cat, Kitty.

Kitty is a community cat who is approximately 11 years old. She is one of the sweetest cats you could ever meet. One day, our neighbor found her dragging her leg and clearly in pain. I took her to a local animal shelter, where I was told that her injury was severe and that surgery would cost around $5,000. I was devastated. I was also told that if I chose to take her home, I would be responsible for the cost of her treatment.

I felt helpless and heartbroken. Then, by what I truly believe was a blessing from God, I received a phone call from the founder of Gatos de la Noche. She told me where to take Kitty for care, and from that moment on, everything changed.

Today, Kitty is completely healed. She runs, jumps, plays, and enjoys life again. Watching her recover has been nothing short of a miracle. She fought so hard, and because of your help, she was given the chance to keep living the happy life she deserves.

To everyone who donated to Kitty’s fund, please know that your generosity made a real difference. You didn’t just help pay for medical care. You saved a life. You gave a sweet, loving cat a second chance.

If Kitty could speak, I know she would thank each and every one of you herself. Since she can’t, I am honored to do it for her.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion, your kindness, and for all that you do for animals in need. The work you do changes lives, and Kitty is living proof of that every single day.

With sincere gratitude,

Evangelina Sanchez
and Kitty

This is October and her kittens. This was the cat that we rescued from inside one of the buildings at the car dealership. We kept her and her babies safe and, when they were old enough, had her spayed and returned to her territory and found her babies wonderful homes.

We asked Fat Kitty City if they would take her too, and they agreed! They also said they would give us a break on the price because of our 501(c)(3) status.

We have raised $5,250 and are so grateful. We still have $3,750 to go. We couldn't have done this without you. Help us achieve our goal! And as always, please share this post. ❤🐾

She is the second cat we are trying to get into the sanctuary. We are so thankful for your help. Please donate here, every dime will go to their safety. And please, share this post. We are grateful. ❤🐾

You might remember that back in January, we pulled 11 kittens and TNR’d 8 adult cats from a car dealership and strip mall location. We hoped they would be safe. Since then, the situation has turned devastating. Six cats have been killed. Five were run over on the busy main road and we believe they are being actively chased into traffic. A sixth cat was run over directly in the dealership lot.

New dealership management threw away their winter shelters and bulldozed all foliage, leaving them completely exposed to the elements and danger.

Property management refuses to respond to any of our emails and issued a cease-and-desist order to the business owner where our feeder works.

Leaving them there is a death sentence. We have to get them out. While I am a firm believer in not relocating community cats, these cats will die in this location. Six cats being killed in 4 months is terrible odds.

We are preparing to relocate the first three cats to a sanctuary. However, sanctuary placement costs $4000 per cat, and we need to raise these funds immediately to secure their spots and save their lives.

You can help by donating. Every dollar goes straight to getting these cats out of danger and into sanctuary care.
