Busy Night this past Monday!

First the San Jose / Mountain View class practices for their Pleasanton Games performance, then the youth dancers practicing calling dances for an audience participation event at the games, and then we danced quite a few dances with Teacher Kathy Allen.

Most extraordinary was dancing Culla Bay with 16 people!

Another fantastic summer dance session in the books!

Kathy Allen spent the first part of Monday evening coaching our Adjudication team as we gear up for the Pleasanton Highland Games over Labor Day weekend. Afterwards, we enjoyed some wonderful social dancing led by Kathy and Trudy, who brought a fun newly devised dance for us to try. We wrapped up the night with a crowd favorite — Mairi's Wedding!🎉👏💃👰

What a fabulous Welcome Summer Dance Party we had last Monday night! ☀️💃🕺
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to kick off the season—especially our wonderful friends who traveled all the way from Santa Cruz just to dance the night away with us!

The energy was incredible, thanks to the fantastic music kept alive all night by Mark, Kathy, and Linda, the San Jose Class Band. 🎶👏

We also shared a very special milestone: celebrating Teacher Paula Jacobson’s retirement after 30 incredible years of teaching. Congratulations, Paula! We wish you the absolute best in your next chapter. 🥂❤️
