What a lovely day for a volunteer picnic! Big thank you to all the volunteers who turned out today to socialize, snack and catch up on what’s happening with our organization. Big thank you to Randee McQueen and Grace Mittelstaedt for organizing the space, food, swag, and raffle items for our event. Great seeing all the canine furry friends in attendance as well ❤️🐾

It’s time for our September monthly member spotlight! This time we are acknowledging Katie O’Donnell. Katie first joined Furry Friends in 2019 with her senior Dachshund, Gypsy. She returned to Furry Friends in 2025 with her current Doxie, Ruth and will hopefully be adding her new sweet Dachshund, Gemma, after she completes the etiquette class. Katie does several visits each month, including special visits, and is the primary person creating visit videos set to music for our organization to use on our social media platforms. Join us in letting Katie know how much we appreciate her contributions to our organization!

Nominate another volunteer for next month’s member spotlight!
