The Salvation Army, Escondido Corps recently received a landscaping refresh made possible through the generosity, expertise and hard work of several community partners.

Thank you to Maranatha Chapel for providing the funding and bringing volunteers through their Go Day, to Nature Designs Landscaping for helping us plan the project and determine the materials needed, and to LandCare for lending their expertise and helping tackle an area that needed experienced hands.

From planning to moving rock and completing the landscaping, this project was a true team effort. We are grateful to everyone who contributed their time, resources and knowledge to help improve our grounds for the community.

Yesterday, The Salvation Army Long Beach Red Shield hosted a wonderful Older Adult Health Fair! ❤️

The event brought local organizations and community partners together to connect older adults with valuable resources, health information, and services to support their overall well-being.

Guests enjoyed a healthy lunch, received helpful resources and goodies from participating vendors, and even had the opportunity to relax with a complimentary massage provided by a local massage school!

More than just a health fair, this event was an opportunity to bring our senior community together, promote healthy living, and remind our older adults that they are valued, supported, and cared for.

A big thank you to all of our community partners, vendors, and staff who helped make this special day possible! ❤️
