4others 4others is a Christian non-profit organization committed to serving others with love and integrity. There are so many opportunities to love and serve others!

We believe that true fulfillment comes from loving God and loving others as ourselves. Within our reach are those who are thirsty, hungry, poor, vulnerable, and discouraged. When we choose to act with compassion towards those in need, we bear witness to something wonderful: the thirsty are satisfied, the hungry are fulfilled, the poor and vulnerable are lifted up and empowered, and the discouraged

A Hope4others Story for

We entered the home of 8-year-old Diribe who lived with her mother and younger siblings. They lived in a one-room home with walls made of mud and straw. They didn’t have electricity, so it took a second for our eyes to adjust to the dark room. When they did, we noticed scattered blades of grass all over their dirt floor.

One of the translators commented on the grass and Diribe’s mother smiled as she explained why. She said green is the color of hope. πŸ€

She told us how much her family had changed in just one year of being in our program, how she could now see joy in her daughter’s face ever since she started going to school and to the weekend Sunday School.

She said, β€œThe staff kept inviting me to church, too, but I kept telling them no. For many months they pestered me, but I refused to listen! But when I saw the change in my daughter and I saw how the staff always showed us so much love, I decided to go to church. Now I am a Christian, too, and yesterday I was baptized! So now my home is filled with the hope of Christ!β€πŸ™Œ

It’s been a joy to watch Diribe grow into a confident young woman herself over the years. She also trusted in Christ as her Savior, and last year she graduated our program! She now has a job at a construction company because her goal is to become a contractor.

CHRISTMAS AT SPRING OF HOPE✨ In Ethiopia, Christmas is celebrated in early January, and we were so glad that the children, guardians, and staff at the Spring of Hope CarePoint were able to enjoy a wonderful Christmas celebration together! There was worship, gospel preaching, snacks, and musical and dramatic performances by the children. They also received letters from their sponsors, which made them very happy!
