Oak Grove Environmental Action Club (EAC) Around these parts, we do our best to save the world, one recycling day at a time. We're a family of tree-huggers and a club with a purpose.

CURRENT EVENTS

- EVERY WEDNESDAY AFTER 6TH PERIOD: On Wednesdays, meet by PF-18 near the student parking lot to collect and recycle the school's bottles, cans, and paper! Each should be around 45 minutes long or so.

The Environmental Action Club, or EAC for short, is dedicated to preserving the AWESOME EARTH you love today! If you love BEAUTIF

UL green plants and CUDDLY animals and don't want the earth to become cluttered with empty McDonald's bags resulting from excessive consumerism—or even if you don't know what consumerism is—then this club might just be the one for you! EVERY Wednesday (starting the Wednesday after Club Day), go to the U-building after 6th period on the teacher's-parking-lot side to help us recycle white paper that the school discards! Bring some friends, because you go classroom to classroom to pick up teachers' recycling bins! If THAT'S not enough to satisfy your giving soul, we'll also be organizing additional events, like river cleanups with Interact Club and the like! For attending, you get to hang out with friends, earn valuable school service hours (NHS-recognized), and save the planet. So come on out!
