Our team of 11 volunteer clinicians from UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital — surgeons, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and nurses — gave their time and expertise to train doctors and nurses at the Saloni Heart Center of Excellence at SGPGIMS in Lucknow, India.

100% volunteer driven mission. They came because they believe every child, regardless of where they are born, deserves a fighting chance.

The Barrett Foundation's belief in our mission means children in underserved communities are not just surviving — they are thriving.

Every clinician on this mission — from the Chief of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at UCSF to our bedside ICU nurses — volunteered their time completely. No fees. No compensation. Just an extraordinary commitment to the children who needed them most.
