The AMAAN Charitable Foundation with the wonderful community of volunteers got together for another RAMADAN boxes event to provide those in need with food essentials and cash gifts to help support them in this blessed month. Join Us in Supporting Families in Need This Ramadan!

This blessed month of Ramadan, let’s unite to extend a helping hand to families facing hardships. The AMAAN Charitable Foundation is offering Ramadan Food Boxes for $120 each. Each box is filled with essential food items and includes a $70 gift card to help those struggling during this special time.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference! Whether you can provide a full box or a portion of one, your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Ramadan is a time for fasting, reflection and charitable giving. AMAAN CHARITABLE FOUNDATION INC. has been and will continue to be helping in the following ways this Ramadan:

1- Providing families in need with $100 gift cards to help buy groceries: due to COVID19 we will not be able to get together to assemble traditional Ramadan food boxes. As a result, this year we will be providing gift cards instead to allow families to buy what they need.
2- AMAAN is partnering with Milpitas Musalla Mosque to help provide individual daily Iftar meals to people in need.
3- AMAAN is responding to people in financial distress and is providing financial aid towards rent, utility bills and other needs during these unprecedented times.
4- Sponsoring families with a $500 check each. Targeting 12 families for the second half of Ramadan.
5- Providing $1500 for one day Iftar of 150 miskeen in South Bay-Area.

On behalf of the AMAAN Team, we would like to thank you all for your continuous support. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and helped many families (that you don’t even know) to keep a roof over their head.

With your donations, AMAAN was able to provide essential support to the needy in our community during these unprecedented and challenging times.

When Amaan’s mission was initiated four years ago this month, to help prevent homelessness among the new wave of refugees and newcomers, no one could have predicted the large scale surge of the effects of COVID-19 pandemic.

For the past 27 years Refugee & Immigrant Forum of Santa Clara County has celebrated World Refugee Day. This year we decided to continue celebrating this important day in a different format due to the peresent uncertain climate in the U.S. and the rest of the world. I encourage you to take a few minutes and enjoy the video we created to honor World Refugee Day.
