Bay Area Orienteering Club

Bay Area Orienteering Club Bringing the sport of Orienteering to the public of the San Francisco Bay Area and N. California. Orienteering is a worldwide sport.

Orienteers use a topographic map and compass to navigate through unfamiliar terrain. BAOC has produced about 50 Orienteering maps of parks in Northern California. Several events are held each month on using these maps.
