We had a great time stepping up to the plate for mental health in May! For , Momentum joined the San Jose Giants for a special evening of baseball and mental health resources, as part of its We Care Wednesday program presented by Kaiser Permanente.

Momentum staff, board members, and other supporters enjoyed a fun night at the ballgame and cheered on our President & CEO Michael Scates as he threw out the first pitch! âš¾

Thank you to the San Jose Giants for this incredible partnership. Best of luck the rest of the season—we’ll be rooting for you!

Nikita came to Parisi House on the Hill with her newborn baby, seeking a path forward. She was determined to keep her son after her older children were removed from her care due to her addiction.

At Parisi House, she found the support she needed to heal and rebuild her life with her son by her side.

Today, Nikita has come full circle—as a staff member at Parisi House, she now helps other mothers take those same courageous first steps toward recovery.

Stories like Nikita’s reflect the impact that compassionate care and community support can have.

If you believe in helping individuals and families build a path forward, we invite you to join us.

👉 This Mental Health Awareness Month, please make a gift to help clients across our programs achieve well-being and stability!

Momentum was thrilled to participate in last week's 15th Annual Behavioral Health Community Heroes Awards hosted by the County Of Santa Clara Behavioral Health Services Division (BHSD) and the Behavioral Health Board (BHB).

This annual celebration honors individuals and organizations making significant contributions to behavioral health in our community. This year's theme was: “Hope in Every Step: Honoring the Journey to Healing."

Congratulations to all the 2026 award recipients, including Assemblymember Gail Pellerin (District 28), pictured below! This work takes a village, and we are grateful to be a part of our community's commitment to hope in every step.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re honoring the strength of the mothers and caregivers we serve — including the moms on our Parisi House on the Hill staff who have walked their own recovery journeys. Their lived experience brings compassion, understanding, and hope to every mom and family they support.

Your generosity helps provide mental health care, substance use support, child development services, and more. Will you join us and make a gift this Mother's Day weekend?

Thank you for your support. Watch the video for a special thank you from our Parisi House team!

Most people don’t realize how early mental health challenges can start.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed for adults who work with or support young people — giving you the tools to recognize the signs, step in with confidence, and help connect them to the right support.

This training covers how to identify mental health and substance use challenges, how to respond in a crisis, and how to have conversations that actually make a difference.

If you interact with youth in any capacity, this is important knowledge you carry with you long after the training ends.

Registration is required. Reach out to Kennya Rodriguez at [email protected]
to sign up.
