Donate here: https://donate.kesem.org/team/608226 Kesem is a diverse community led by passionate and empathetic college students working to ensure that children facing the challenges of a parent’s cancer have space, connection, and support to rediscover the joys of childhood. Our mission is to support children through and beyond their parent’s cancer with free, fun-filled creative programs and a lasting community. Camp Kesem at UC Davis was founded in 2004 and supports children in Davis and the greater Sacramento area by providing Camp Kesem, a free two week-long summer camp experience, and year-round Through and Beyond support services. Our chapter is operated by 150 student volunteers and serves 300 campers ages 6-18 per year. Kesem operates at 115 chapters nationwide. Its programs and services are all funded by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. Kesem is a federally registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
