District 4-C6 Lions District 4-C6 consists of Lions Clubs in the counties of Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz Santa Clara California, USA

Lions Clubs International District 4-C6 is home to nearly 50 Lions Clubs, a Lioness Club and several Leo Clubs. Membership in the district numbers nearly 1,400 Lions, Lionesses and Leos. Geographically, the district encompasses the counties of Santa Clara (except the city of Palo Alto), Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterey. District officers include the District Governor, First Vice District Govern

or, Second Vice District Governor, Cabinet Secretary-Treasurer, Region Chairs and Zone Chairs. These officers, plus the Club Presidents are voting members of the Governor’s Advisory Council (or Cabinet). There are four District Governor’s Advisory Meetings, also called Cabinet Meetings, per year. There is one District Convention per year, to which the clubs send delegates to vote on District Leadership, constitutional issues and other matters that must be put to a vote of the delegates according to the District Constitution or By-laws. District 4-C6 is one of fifteen districts comprising Multiple District 4 (or MD4), which encompasses all of California. The clubs of MD4 are among the 45,000 clubs which collectively constitute the International Association of Lions Clubs, or Lions Clubs International (LCI).

Yesterday, our district conducted a training session for incoming presidents, zone and region chairpersons at the San Martin Lions Club. It was DG Elect Dave Kaplow's first official event as DG. We gained valuable insights on effective club management. We appreciate the participants' dedication to preparing for a successful year of service.
