The West San Jose-Campbell Lions Club has given a total of $6,000 recently to 5 students in the Campbell Union High School District. I was the presenter for Eliana Gonzales from Leigh High School. She provided baked goods for needy children through Cake4Kids and volunteers to help the homeless in Sunnyvale. Eliana will be attending UC Santa Barbara.

Our 4th annual Lions Comedy Night was a huge success! 220 people came, loved the dinner and comedians. We raise funds for Campbell Union High School District scholarships and more! The Campbell Press Campbell Chamber of Commerce Campbell Water Tower City of Campbell Police Department

The West San Jose-Campbell Lions marched in the Bunnies and Bonnets parade today. My granddaughter Vivian joined us and really enjoyed handing out goodies to the kids in the crowd. Definitely a future Lion.

Yesterday, several lions clubs in district 4C-6 partnered with a group of Stanford ophthalmology residents to perform eye exams at a mushroom farm in Morgan Hill. Almost 100 patients were seen and most received eyeglasses provided by Lions In Sight. Pictured are West San Jose-Campbell Lions members Pam Berry and Lucie Mueller with Anania Woldetensaya, MD.
