The C’s of Musical Theatre at Angels on Stage ✨🎶 Musical theatre is about so much more than singing, dancing, and performing on a stage. At Angels on Stage, our performers are learning skills they can carry with them far beyond the theatre.
COOPERATION - Every performer has an important role, but the magic happens when everyone works together.
CONNECTION - Angels learn to listen, respond, trust one another, and communicate without always needing words.
CONCENTRATION - Theatre helps us stay present and learn how powerful focused attention can be. COORDINATION - Our performers learn to coordinate their movements, remember lines and cues, listen to their fellow Angels and stay connected to each scene.
CREATIVITY - Thinking outside the box, taking risks, solving problems and discovering new ways to tell a story.
CONFIDENCE - Finding the courage to step into the spotlight and believe in yourself.
COMMITMENT - Showing up, practicing, persevering, and giving your best even when something feels challenging.
COMMUNICATION - Expressing yourself, listening to others, and learning how to connect with an audience.
COMPASSION - Understanding different roles, perspectives and experiences while showing kindness to the people around you.
COURAGE - Trying something new, making mistakes, getting back up and continuing to grow.
COLLABORATION - Encouraging performers to work together, listen to one another, share ideas and support their fellow Angels.
And perhaps one of the most important lessons of all: Community. At Angels on Stage, we believe theatre creates more than performers…it helps create confident, compassionate, creative people who know how to work together, overcome challenges and shine in whatever stage of life comes next. The skills learned on stage become strengths for life.
