Sometimes we get lucky and switch it up. Glamping is a new experience for Pack, but I gotta say, it’s really enjoyable. Foil dinners, no tents to set up. Great company. S’mores and hot chocolate. Movies with popcorn on the side of the tent. Clean bathrooms. Fun to try something different.

A easy 2.9 miles hike on the Old Cove Landing Trail at beautiful Wilder Ranch State Park. There were seals, a snake, pelicans, beetles, poison oak, lots of poison hemlock, wild blackberries and a scenery that you have to admire. Was a good day for a walk.

Scouting America now requires annual safety renewals, and the May 31 deadline is approaching fast! If you are transitioning to the new Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT) for the first time, you must complete the full 90-minute course; however, if you’ve already completed the full SYT, you only need the quick refresher.

Log in to my.scouting.org to finish your training today. Beating the "May Rush" ensures your membership stays in good standing without the headache of last-minute system delays!

Starting June 1, military families will be able to join Scouting for free thanks to a new nationally funded initiative by Scouting America. This new program will waive the $85 national registration fee and send military families a code to register youth online after completing a verification process.

✅ Who Qualifies: All new and renewing youth members whose parents or guardians are currently serving as active-duty military, National Guard, or Reserve

✅ When It Starts: The benefit goes into effect on June 1, 2026

✅ What is Covered: The waiver applies specifically to the $85 National registration fee

Parent meeting and recruitment was promising last night! Looking forward to a fun summer program with our new friends! Thank you Ms Scarlet, Ms Jane and our Troop 110 boys for leading the outdoor fitness obstacle course…and the art lessons. 😆 Thank you Ms Scarlet, Ms Jay, Ms Jane and Ms Vanessa for all the work you put in to make this happen.
