Shop for a Cause - Kendra Scott Giveback Event

Join the Junior League of San Jose for a Giveback shopping event at Kendra Scott Santana Row on Thursday, October 23rd from 6-8pm. Bring your friends, family, and anyone who loves a good excuse to shop! A portion of proceeds from purchases made during the event will go directly toward supporting JLSJ’s mission in the community. The more people who come out and shop, the bigger the impact, so spread the word and bring a crowd.

Finding the good continues as we honor another Find the Good Day winner, Allison Vickery!

Allison spent 38 years as a Girl Scouts volunteer leader in Santa Clara County, trained 500+ volunteers, and is a driving force behind Lead the Way, a conference designed and run by teen Girl Scouts for younger girls. 💛

In her honor, JLSJ is awarding $2,000 to Girl Scouts of Northern California. Thank you, Allison! 👏

Congrats to one of our Find the Good Award winners, Glenda Chang!

Glenda pairs environmental education with real internship access for marginalized youth, building paid pipelines into environmental science and mentoring young women in a field where they’re still underrepresented.

In her honor, we’re awarding $1,000 in JLSJ grant funding to GreenTown Los Altos, where she’s served on the board since 2021.

Thank you, Glenda! 💛

Last night at our General Membership Meeting, Junior League of San Jose members paused to say thank you 💛

One by one, we filled out dozens of gratitude postcards for local organizations doing the quiet, essential work of caring for our community, feeding neighbors, housing families, supporting kids, showing up in ways that don't always make headlines but change lives every single day.

Today, we're mailing those postcards out.

It's a small gesture, but a sincere one. Find the Good Day is about recognizing the good already happening all around us, in Santa Clara County and beyond. To every organization receiving one of these postcards this week, and to all San Jose orgs doing this work day in and day out: keep going, and know that we appreciate you!

🌟 Happy Find the Good Day! 🌟

Today we celebrate a special day dedicated to recognizing and uplifting the good in our communities. 💛

Junior League of San Jose is excited to mark this day by reflecting on the good we’ve found through service, leadership, and meaningful connection.

We choose to find the good in an organization that has helped many grow in confidence, build lasting relationships, and see the impact we can create when we come together with purpose. ✨

Take a moment today to find the good around you whether in a kind gesture, an act of service, or the people who inspire you to lead with heart.
