🗣️ A Voice for Our Village 🌿

We are so excited to share that our very own Areil Roullo has been selected as a new member of San José for All (SJ4All)!

SJ4All members serve as trusted community advisors to the City of San José to further equity, inclusion, and accessibility efforts across the city. Members engage city departments, policymakers, and staff, ensuring that city services and strategies are accountable to San José’s most impacted communities. In a process with over 80 applicants for only 10 openings, it is wonderful to see her dedication and expertise recognized on such a large scale.

Having Areil in this role means our families and the profound autism community have a dedicated voice where it matters most. It’s about making sure our village is represented, and we couldn't think of a better person to carry that message.

The heart of Creekside has always been our people. When one of our own steps up to lead, it’s a win for our entire community. 🏡

LAST day to vote for Creekside to be an Envirotoken recipient!

Hello Creekside Community!

Today is the LAST day to vote for Creekside to be an Envirotoken recipient for 2026-2027!

At New Leaf Community Markets, customers are given a $0.10 Envirotoken per reusable bag. Customers can then "donate" their Envirotoken to one of six local non-profits. Every month, Envirotokens are tallied up, and a check is donated to each organization.

This year, Creekside is in the running to be one of the six local non-profits at the Silver Creek New Leaf Community Market! The non-profits will be voted on between April 22-June 2. The top six vote recipients in each of our store locations, become the next recipients for one year, from July 1, 2026 through June 2027!

Voting will take place completely on-line. ** customers can vote once per day, per email address. So YES – everyone can vote multiple times.

Watering the Seeds of Our Future 🌱

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but at Creekside, we know it takes an entire community to sustain a legacy.

Creekside has been officially nominated!

We have a beautiful chance to nourish our "village" through the New Leaf Community Markets Envirotokens program, and we need your hands to help us grow. 🏡✨

If we land in the top six, we’ll receive proceeds for an entire year—funding that goes directly into the heart of our mission and the "full circle" of care we provide for our families, from our youngest students to our future adult program.

Think of each vote as a small seed planted for our future. It only takes a moment, but when our whole community leans in together, those moments turn into a year of support for our students and graduates.

Our Village in the Heart of the City 🏛️✨

Looking back at our visit to City Hall on April 14th, the San Jose City Council honored Creekside with a formal commendation that felt like a giant hug for our entire community. This milestone isn't just about a ceremony. It’s about our students being seen, heard, and celebrated by our city leaders. 🫂🤍

We started two decades ago with just two students and a lot of love from parents who refused to give up. Standing in those Council chambers, it was clear just how much that love has sprouted. 🌿

The Creekside School is overjoyed to announce a successful annual Better Together event last month, which raised over $137,000 (and counting!) for our students and programming. We are filled with gratitude to our sponsors, supporters, performers, staff volunteers, and vendors for enabling us to create such a special event furthering our mission of facilitating lifelong learning and belonging for our students. 🎉🎊

Syndikidz, founded in 2015, is a professional dance team based out of San Jose , CA. The name refers to a group of individuals from different walks of life, who come together for a common purpose. This set is choreographed by our directors Janet Pizarro, Jonathan Pham, Leon Tran, Janael Ajel, Monica Chan, and Diego Rodriguez. You can follow us on Instagram .

Franco Finn is in his 23rd Season as the In-Arena MC and TV Personality for the NBA Champion Golden State Warriors. Known as the “Warriors Hype Man” at Oracle Arena and now the new Chase Center in San Francisco, he performs live in front of 20,000+ fans each night. 🌉🏀⛹️‍♂️🤩

He’s been involved in a multitude of fundraising and corporate events for various high-profile companies to non-profits. He has worked with some of the most recognized non-profit charities and organizations from the American Red Cross, March of Dimes, The Ronald McDonald House, the Boys & Girls Clubs, the YMCA, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, just to name a handful, helping to raise millions of dollars and counting, in his career! ✨✨✨
