We are excited to announce that SCCLD is bringing Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to Santa Clara County! This worldwide effort mails free age-appropriate books (in English or Spanish) to children under the age of 5 every month, with a goal of sparking a lifetime love of reading.

Children under age 5 can sign up at sccld.org/imaginationlibrary to receive a free age-appropriate book every month mailed to their homes, starting 6-8 weeks after enrolling.

This program is open to all kids in the county. No library card is required and you can live in any part of the county. It's never too early to introduce your little ones to books. Visit the library to enjoy storytimes and check out books for yourself and your children.

Dolly's efforts have led to a quarter billion kids receiving books through the mail. We are proud to be partners with her in this effort.
