This free Cycle Safety event from YMCA of Silicon Valley is a great example of Developmental Asset #10: Safety—helping young people develop the skills and confidence to feel safer as they navigate their community. 🌟

Healthy Kids Day (April 25) is a great reminder that “health” is more than physical activity—it’s also about connection, belonging, and well-being.

At Project Cornerstone, we focus on Developmental Assets: the internal strengths youth build, along with the everyday relationships and experiences that help them thrive. This includes caring adults, safe spaces, and opportunities to be active and engaged in their communities.

Take a look at some of the amazing activities happening across YMCA of Silicon Valley branches this weekend in support of Healthy Kids Day. There are so many fun ways for kids and families to move, play, and connect!
