Cloth recommendations 🥋
- Wear athletic clothing, nothing loose
- no jewelry, watches, or adornments of any kind
- for practical purposes please keep toe and finger nails trimmed
- tie long hair back

Mindset and accommodations 🧠🙏

- We will be sparring with each other so please come with the mindset of getting scrappy and personal with folks.
- If you do need religious/comfort accomodations we encourage you to bring a sparring partner!
- any other accommodations please let us know. We will work with you to make sure you can train!

The start of June and summer is a time to renew our dedication and discipline to protect our communities from the Zionist and capitalistic genocidal regimes that are actively destroying our planet. We hold steady and fight back!

Join us this month to learn new skills that honor revolutionaries who came before us like Marsha P. Johnson, Opal Lee, and others in the q***r and BLM movements, respectively. By community request, we will be teaching throws and grappling, giving you confidence in how to defend yourself and others against the imperialist regime! No experience necessary!

TRAINING ASKS👇

Please do not wear baggy clothes, no jewelry, or anything that can get caught in clothes. We will accommodate religious/comfort sensitivities as best we can, but if unsure we recommend bringing a partner to spar with.

We will be sharing the training curriculum the night before or day of lessons so keep a lookout for those!

No ICE abductions were observed last Thursday (3/26) We have forced ISAP ICE operations from the shadows and into the open! However, we need continuous community presence at the ISAP office to keep acting as a deterrent of ICE abductions.

Therefore, please join us this Thursday (3/26) at the ISAP office on Blossom Hill Rd at any time between 8am-2pm! We are in need of multilingual folks - Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, and Mandarin speakers especially!

The US imperial fascist regime has escalated its genocidal war abroad in the last few months, attacking sovereign nations like Iran, Venezuela,, threatening Cuba, and further enabling the genocide in Gaza and the West Bank.

Domestically it has brought the war home, abducting people in the streets everyday and worsening many of our material conditions.

Join us to learn community defense to not only protect yourself and your loved ones, but the community at large. Classes once a week will build on foundational concepts. No experience needed!

We are entering a critical phase of fascist escalation domestically. ICE abductions at check-in appointments have resumed after a 1.5 month break at San Francisco and San Jose with additional threats of increased ICE activity in the Bay.

However,we can fight back!

We have shown that our presence at the ISAP building can act as a strong deterrent to thwart check-in abductions. With enough numbers, we can continue this protective presence and eventually force ICE out of San Jose.

Pull up! Protect our community San Jose and abolish ICE!
