The 8th Áo Dài Festival is set for Sunday May 24, 2026 at the Mexican Heritage Plaza in San Jose. The Ao Dai Festival team is pleased to announce the return of popular Áo Dài Festival! This year’s event features an art exhibition, a fashion extravaganza showcasing designs by internationally known designers, and performances by talented musical performers and a magician. The festival kicks off at 3

PM with a colorful opening ceremony featuring dancers dressed in traditional Áo Dài moving to the beat of many drummers. Following the mid-morning ceremony and workshops, the festival welcomes attendees with an elegant reception. Chosen as the central theme of the festival, the Áo Dài is an elegant symbol of the complexity and beauty of Vietnamese culture. From the dynastic era through modern times the Áo Dài has been a source of great pride for the Vietnamese people. Through its many incarnations the Áo Dài continues to channel grace, strength, sensuality and style while remaining a cultural icon that inspires artists and designers across the globe. The Ao Dai Festival organization would like to thank the community for coming together to make Áo Dài Festival 8 possible. After months of planning and hard work, on May 24, 2026, we proudly presented the largest Vietnamese art and cultural Áo Dài Festival in the United States. Since our very first festival in 2011 which was started by Dan Do and the late Jenny Do, this journey has been fueled by love for our culture and the strength of our community.

We are truly thrilled and deeply grateful for the overwhelming support from everyone who attended, participated, and contributed. Your presence, energy, and pride helped bring this celebration to life in the most meaningful way.

A special thank you to our incredible designers—Si Hoang, Calvin Hiep, Ngô Nhật Huy, Ntk Vũ Thảo Giang, and Jacky Tai—for sharing your artistry and vision. To our amazing planning team, models, dancers, musicians, performers, MCs, photographers, makeup and hair artists, vendors, Sponsors, and our dedicated Volunteers, stage and decoration teams—your passion, talent, and tireless efforts made every moment unforgettable. A Deep Thank you to our Guests and VIP Guests who attended and supported us. Thank you to our Family and Friends for being patient and rooting us on.

This festival is more than an event—it is a celebration of identity, heritage, and unity. Seeing our community come together in such a powerful way reminds us why we started and inspires us to continue growing for years to come.
